Hello Holland

The last two weeks we've been in the Netherlands. My sister also came over from Korea for the first week. End of March is a period in the Netherlands where it can be cold, but there was a cold North Easternly wind blowing which is quite unusual to blow for more than a couple of days at the most. But the first week it was there very strong. It was much colder than I anticipated. But I don't mind the cold so much. We went to the Keukenhof which is a big attraction in the Netherlands this time of year. Usually the tulip fiels are in full bloom and it is a most pretty sight. However because it's been so cold nothing is in bloom yet at least not outside and to compensate they put out crates with tulips. It is far from what we had hoped to see, so the duckies turned out a bigger atrraction. Also inside people were photographing the tulips, but again it's not as nice when seen outside in much bigger multiples. Still I quite enjoyed the cold. I liek how the head is cleared when there is a strong wind blowing. We've made big decisions. The last (almost) 4 years we've been in Italy and enjoyed it immensely. We've decided to return to the Netherlands, so the past two weeks we've also been busy looking for a house and appropiate schools for the kids. We succeeded with all, I feel very fortunate that all went so well.
