The Summer seems to have come to an end. The weather is chillier, although the forecast for this coming week is very warm. But anyway it's befitting that it feels a bit autumny (I don't think that is a real word, but it sounds better than "feel like Autumn) on this first day of school for all my three kids. It wasn't until Friday evening that I found out that there were a few things I needed to get for the boys. One of the items was a folder. On Saturday we went into town, but all we could find was a "boring" brown (I actually really liked it, but the boys were not that charmed) or otherwise pink folder. I promised to make it nicer, so I photographed a handful of lego men they have lying about everywhere in the house. I also photographed them with their hands as lego men always have theirs. I have these A4 size sticker paper, so I made them a big A4 size sticker for their folder. They were pleased with the result.
So that was something for the kids. As we have moved and because we have lived in quite a few countries, I thought it would be nice to send some snail mail more often. This coincided with my urge to decorate envelopes ever since we moved. Since I always like doing something on a yearly basis, I thought of doing a 250 Envelopes project. Since posting in the weekend doesn't make any difference from posting on a Monday, I decided to leave the weekends out. That leaves 260 days in a year (if I calculated correctly), but since I like the number 250 better than 260 and since I know myself and I'm bound to miss a few days, I decided to try to post 250 days out of a full year, starting this September. The first went out today. We'll see if I can finish this project as by my aim. If you'd like to receive one of these envelopes, don't hesitate to let me know.
