Serves 4 to 6
113gr melted butter
250gr all-purpose flour
60gr brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp salt
3 large eggs, separated
500ml buttermilk (or substitute with 5 tbsp fat yoghurt and add up with milk till 500ml)
1. In a large bowl, put together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
2. add egg yolks, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla and mix.
3. In a medium bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Fold egg whites into batter.
4. Ladle about 1/3 cup batter onto the waffle grid.
Tip: if you don't eat the waffle immediately, transfer them to a baking sheet. Place in an oven set to low heat (100C°) while using remaining batter
